Terms and Conditions

Occupancy Limits:

a. The maximum number of guests allowed to stay in the property is 4. 

b. Parties, gatherings, or events exceeding the occupancy limit are strictly prohibited.

Rules and Regulations:

a. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property and around patio/pool deck.

b. Pets are not allowed unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

c. Quiet hours are from 11:00p.m. to 7:00a.m., during which noise should be kept to a minimum.

d. Any damage caused to the property or its contents during the rental period will be the renter’s responsibility to repair or replace.
Maintenance and Repairs:

a. The renter agrees to maintain the property in a clean and undamaged condition.

b. In the event of any maintenance or repair issues, the renter will promptly notify the property owner or their designated representative  

Liability and Insurance:

a. The renter acknowledges that they are responsible for their personal belongings and any injuries that occur during their stay (pool area, lake, cabin, yard, dock, boat, kayak, fire pit).

b. The property owner will not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages to the renter or their guests during the rental period.

c. It is recommended that the renter obtains travel insurance to cover any unforeseen events. Weather events do not constitute cancellation outside of catastrophic weather events such as hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, and floods.

Additional Provisions:

  • It is required that life jackets be worn while enjoying the lake.
  • No Lifeguard is on duty at the lake or around the pool. Swim at your own risk.
  • No diving. Pool depth is 4 feet. A net is available for water volleyball.
  • Parents with children must supervise their children at all times around the pool, lake, dock, boat house.
  • Don’t run around pool deck or boat dock
  • No horseplay
  • Don’t use glass around the pool or boat dock
  • Appropriate water shoes are suggested around the shoreline
  • Swim sober
  • Remove your trash from around the cabin, pool, dock or shoreline at the end of each day. Bags will be provided. You can set the trash bag on the lower patio for property owners to dispose of nightly.
  • If using the shoreline fire pit, a bucket and rake can be found on the lower patio to assist in putting out the fire before retreating to the cabin for the evening. FIRE MUST BE EXTINGUISHED BEFORE LEAVING THE AREA.
  • Renter parking is under the barn awning. After parking, follow signs to the cabin entrance that is behind the house.

Check out procedures:

  • Take out the trash
  • Move all furniture to where it was at the beginning of your stay
  • Strip each bed of dirty linens, put used bathroom, pool and kitchen towels and all used linens in the bathtub
  • Place all dirty dishes in the kitchen sinks
  • Switch off all kitchen appliances, air conditioners, lamps, lights, ceiling fans
  • Check that all windows are closed
  • Check for your personal items such as phone cords…
  • Close front door and outside gates securely
